Re-strike map from the original brass plates printed around 1860. It was not dated but the research I have done dates the map between 1860 and 1908 at the latest. This is the highly sought after Michel-Etiene Turgot Map of Paris originally published in 1739. Custom framed in a beautiful Italian moulding. Plate 20 has a small amount of separation along the fold starting at the bottom and going up towards the center with a close up photo you can see it does not distract from the beauty of this very rare map. The prints are mounted on acid free foam core using archival methods. This set will include the original portfolio binding and the engraving showing the complete map together which is unframed. In the additional photos you can see it hanging on a 12 foot tall wall with additional room at the top and bottom. Measurements: 21.25 inches tall 31.5 inches wide 5 frames tall 4 frames wide
